Festival House on People's Promenade
Ceremonies in Blackpool are at the Wedding Chapel, Festival House, People's Promenade, FY1 1AP, Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm. Notices are dealt with at the Town Hall on Talbot Square, FY1 1AD, so the photographer should go to Festival House. A You+2 statutory ceremony, for you and two witnesses, is £62 on Monday morning at 10am, 10.30am or 11am. Notice and certificate fees are extra, and so is a £50 provisional booking fee that is not taken off the ceremony price. The fees can change on 1 April each year.
Tower View holds you and up to 60 guests, from 10am to 4pm: £405 Monday to Thursday, £470 on Friday, £555 on Saturday, and £570 on Sunday and bank holidays. Dressing the room is a further £60. Sea View's standard daytime ceremony is you and up to five guests, Monday to Thursday, at £155. The enhanced Sea View ceremony, up to 10 guests, is £260 on those days. If sea fret is likely, say if you need a few minutes inside as well as on the railings.
Evening ceremonies have their own window
Evening ceremonies run from 4.30pm to 8pm. The photographer's finish has to match that window. Send the room, the guest cap and the hours. If the meal is away from the promenade, put that address and the travel in the quote.
Which Monday times are the £62 ceremony, and how long is the photography?
10am, 10.30am and 11am, for you and two witnesses. One or two hours often covers the signing and a few pictures at Festival House. The £50 provisional fee, the notice and the certificate are extra council charges. Check the figure if your date is after 1 April.
How many guests fit in Tower View, and does that change the hours?
You and up to 60, between 10am and 4pm. Monday to Thursday is £405, and dressing the room is a further £60. Book longer if you want groups, and say how long you can stay in the room.
What should we send for the Sea View Room?
Say whether you have the standard daytime ceremony, you and up to five guests at £155 Monday to Thursday, or the enhanced ceremony, up to 10 guests at £260 on those days. The photographer can then plan for five or for ten, rather than for Tower View's 60.
Where should the photographer wait?
At Festival House on People's Promenade. The Town Hall on Talbot Square is for appointments such as notices. Send the room name as well, because the chapel, Tower View and Sea View are not the same pictures.
Our slot is between 4.30pm and 8pm. When should coverage end?
Inside the council's evening window, unless you have booked a meal afterwards. Send the finish time with the room. If you leave the promenade for the meal, that drive belongs in the quote.
