A Tuesday office, or the Ceremony Room at the hall
Flintshire County Council's fees page names the Ceremony Room at Llwynegrin Hall in Mold. For 2026-27 a civil marriage or civil partnership at the hall is £250 Monday to Wednesday, £340 Thursday or Friday, £370 on Saturday, and £445 on Sunday or a bank holiday. A non-refundable deposit of £125 is deducted from the full fee. The same page offers a statutory service in the register office at £62, bookable on Tuesdays only, at least three months ahead. That room is the two of you plus two guests. The deposit on the statutory booking is £30, also deducted from the total.
Those are different rooms and different lead times. The Tuesday slot has to be booked three months out at a minimum. One or two hours often covers that signing and a few pictures outside. The hall has a day-of-week price, so a Thursday is not the Monday figure. Tell the photographer which room, the start time, and whether they are one of the two guests or outside afterwards.
A Flintshire hotel, and booking a long way ahead
Approved hotels are a third column, £455 Monday to Wednesday in 2026-27, again with the £125 deposit. Name the hotel if that is the ceremony. If you also want pictures at Llwynegrin Hall, that is a second stop and the travel should be priced. An advanced booking fee of £90 applies if you book more than 12 months ahead, and it is not refundable. The photographer still needs the hours on the day.
How long should we book at Llwynegrin Hall on a Monday to Wednesday?
The Ceremony Room is £250 in 2026-27 for those days, and the £125 deposit is deducted from that fee. Send the start time and how long you want them in the room and outside. Thursday or Friday is £340, Saturday is £370, and Sunday or a bank holiday is £445. Do not brief a Thursday as the Monday rate.
Who can be in the £62 Tuesday ceremony?
