An appointment at Spring Hall
Calderdale Council's registration service in Halifax is at Spring Hall, Huddersfield Road, HX3 0AQ. Entry is by appointment only, including for ceremonies. The office is closed from 9am to 11am on the first Wednesday of each month for staff training. A photographer who arrives at 9am that Wednesday will find the doors shut until 11am, even if a ceremony is booked later in the day. Send the appointment time with the building.
Ceremonies do take place at Spring Hall, and you book ahead. The public page gives no guest cap and no ceremony price, so both should come from your confirmation. Ask whether any indoor space can be used for portraits, and ask how long you can stay on the grounds after the signing. A short register-office signing is often covered in one or two hours, ceremony plus a few pictures outside. If the ceremony is at another approved venue in Calderdale, put that building on the brief. If you want pictures at Spring Hall as well, or a meal somewhere else, name the second address, the guest count, and the travel. Send the building. The town name on its own is not enough.

One or two hours often covers a short signing and a few pictures on the grounds. Send the guest count from your confirmation, because the contact page has no cap. A longer celebration needs the hours you were actually given.
The ceremony is at another Calderdale venue. What replaces Spring Hall?
That venue's name, the start, the guest count, and the finish time. If you still want pictures at Spring Hall, say so and include the travel. The town name still needs a building attached to it.
