The garden after the register office
Peterborough Register Office runs three packages for ceremonies between 1 April 2026 and 31 March 2027. The couple and two witnesses option is £62 on Monday and Friday. That fee covers the room, the registrars and the garden for photographs afterwards. A certificate is an extra £12.50. The Thorpe package, for up to six guests, is £160 on Mondays and £210 on Fridays and Saturdays, again with the garden afterwards. The Lawns package is £315 on Monday and £430 on Friday and Saturday. Bank holidays are closed.
Tell the photographer which package you have. A two-witness Monday and a Lawns Saturday are different jobs. The garden may take a few minutes or a little longer depending on the weather, so say if you want that time inside the booking. A short register-office signing is often covered in one or two hours, and here the garden is the natural use of the time after the ceremony. If the meal is away from the office, send that address and ask for the travel to be included.
