Write Hayes, Uxbridge or the Colne Valley
Hillingdon stretches from Hayes and Harlington through Uxbridge, Ruislip, Northwood and Eastcote to the Colne Valley, along the A40 and the Metropolitan line. A photographer coming from central London needs longer to reach the far side of the borough. Someone already in Buckinghamshire may be closer to the Colne Valley than to Hayes. Say the town you mean.
A short register-office signing is often covered in one or two hours, ceremony plus a few pictures outside. If that is your day, ask for those hours and send the building, the slot and the guest count. If the reception is near the Hertfordshire or Buckinghamshire border, put the village in the note. Heathrow moves the timetable when guests are flying, or when you are marrying on a flight day. Say if the finish time depends on a landing. Uxbridge and Ruislip are quieter places for portraits than Hayes on a Saturday, so name them when that is where you will stand. If you need a step-free route from a car park to the room, say so. Some older high streets are awkward with a wedding party.
How many hours if the meal is in Buckinghamshire?
Name the village. A ceremony in the Colne Valley and a reception over the county boundary are two parts of the day. One or two hours covers the signing and a few pictures. The miles should be in the quote.
Is a ceremony in Uxbridge the same request as one in Hayes?
The travel and the timing differ. Write the town and the building. Say if the portraits are in Uxbridge or Ruislip, or in Hayes on a Saturday, because the setting changes the minutes you need.
What should a short ceremony in Ruislip or Eastcote include?
The minutes in the room and the minutes you want outside. Name Eastcote, Northwood or Harlington if that is the pin. It is a smaller booking than a reception over the Hertfordshire border.
What if our guests are coming from Heathrow?
Add slack to the time you ask the photographer to stay. Say that the timetable is tied to a flight, so a delay has room inside the booking rather than running past it.
What should we compare for a drive from Hayes to the Colne Valley?
The hours, the travel, and whether a second photographer is included. A drive from Hayes to the Colne Valley is long enough to be written out on its own.
