Pontypridd Register Office is in the Municipal Buildings, Gelliwastad Road, CF37 2DP. The register office room is available Monday to Saturday and holds up to 10 guests. For 2026/27 the fee is £62. The Evan James Suite, on the same days, holds up to 45, and the suite and Civic Chamber fee is £193. The non-refundable booking fee is £36. Ceremonies run from 9.30am to 3pm on weekdays and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays.
There is no parking at the door. The large public car park is the Goods Yard, behind the bus station, so a 9.30am start needs a named meeting point or the first pictures are missed while people look for a space. Tell the photographer whether you have the 10-guest room, the Evan James Suite, or the Civic Chamber, and the start time. A signing with 10 guests is often covered in one or two hours, including a few pictures outside. Forty-five guests needs a longer booking if you want groups.
An approved venue instead of these rooms
Approved venues are £505 Monday to Saturday in 2026/27 if the ceremony is not in these rooms. Name that venue, the time you leave Gelliwastad Road if you are also there, and whether you want coverage in both places. The drive is a second stop. A quote that only says the town will not know if you mean ten guests, forty-five, or a hotel.
How many guests should we tell them for each room?

How many hours fit the £62 room?

Why does a 9.30am start need a meeting point?
