Southover Grange, and who sits inside the number
Lewes ceremonies are at Southover Grange, Southover Road, BN7 1TP, a Grade II* listed manor in the gardens. For a booking made before 1 April 2027, the Winterbourne Suite holds 15 and is £590 on Monday to Thursday from 9am to 4.30pm, and £680 on Friday to Sunday. The Evelyn Room holds 20 at the same fees, with Friday to Sunday closing at 4pm. The Newton Room holds 50 at those fees, until 4.30pm. The Ainsworth Room holds 60, at £645 on Monday to Thursday and £735 on Friday to Sunday, until 4pm. The fee includes the room, the registrars, two legal certificates and one commemorative certificate, and you pay it in full when you book.
The capacity includes everyone except the registrars, so witnesses and the photographer sit inside the number. Name the room, not only the Grange. A start from 5pm until 9.59pm adds £195, and from 10pm until 8.59am adds £295. New Year's Day, Easter Sunday and Christmas Day add £180. There is no dedicated parking. Paid parking is at the school car park opposite, on nearby streets, or at the station, about 10 minutes on foot. Ceremonies run Monday to Sunday and can be booked up to three years ahead. If you want garden portraits after a Friday-to-Sunday finish at 4pm in the Evelyn Room, or after the Ainsworth Room's 4pm close, say how long you may stay outside.
What does Monday in the Winterbourne Suite cost?
£590 for a booking made before 1 April 2027, between 9am and 4.30pm. The room holds 15, and that number includes the photographer. Two legal certificates and one commemorative certificate are included. A second camera is a capacity question before you invite one in.
Which Southover Grange room holds 60, and when does it end?
The Ainsworth Room, at £645 on Monday to Thursday and £735 on Friday to Sunday, until 4pm. The Newton Room holds 50 at the lower pair of fees and runs until 4.30pm. The two rooms give you different end times for portraits in the gardens.
Does the photographer take a place in the Winterbourne Suite?
Yes. Published capacities include everyone except the registrars. In the Winterbourne Suite or the Evelyn Room, count the camera inside the guest number. The Evelyn Room holds 20 and uses the same fees, with Friday to Sunday closing at 4pm.
What do we add if Southover Grange starts at 5pm?
£195 on top of the room fee, for a start from 5pm until 9.59pm. From 10pm until 8.59am adds £295. Send that later start so the quote is priced past the daytime close, which is 4pm in some rooms and 4.30pm in others.
