A two-person slot, then three larger rooms
Swindon Borough Council's fees page sets the statutory ceremony room at a capacity of two people. It runs Monday and Tuesday, 10.30am to 11.30am. The fee from 6 April 2026 is £74.50. The 2027 figure on that row is still marked TBC. A £65 deposit secures a booking and is then deducted from the ceremony fee. It is non-refundable. A photographer on that 10.30am slot has a narrow window before the next appointment. Say whether portraits are even possible, or whether you are going straight to another venue.
The Garden Room holds 65 people. For 2026 it is £425 on Monday to Wednesday, 10am to 4pm, £460 on Thursday, £500 on Friday, £550 on Saturday, with Saturday hours to 5pm, and £660 on Sundays and bank holidays. The Juno Room holds 20 and is £255 on Monday to Wednesday in 2026. The Courtyard Room and garden hold eight people, Monday to Thursday, 10am to 3.30pm, at £165 for 2026. Name the room. The courtyard light is part of the pictures.
Hours that match the room, not the deposit
The balance of the ceremony fee is due in full two months before the date. Send the room, the start, the guest number, and how long you want coverage. One or two hours often covers that signing and a few pictures outside, if a gap exists before the next appointment. If you leave for a meal, that address and the travel belong in the quote.
How many pictures fit the Monday or Tuesday 10.30am room?
The statutory room is for two people, from 10.30am to 11.30am, at £74.50 from 6 April 2026, and it can be booked no more than four months ahead. The window before the next appointment is short. Say if portraits have to be a few minutes, or if you are going straight to another venue. One or two hours often covers it when that gap exists.
What should we send for the Garden Room and its Saturday hours?
The page says 65 people. Monday to Wednesday in 2026 is £425, between 10am and 4pm. Saturday in 2026 is £550, with hours to 5pm. Sunday and bank holidays are £660. Say how long you have the room, and whether you go on to a meal.
Can the Courtyard Room take a full wedding party?
It is listed with the garden for eight people, Monday to Thursday, 10am to 3.30pm, at £165 for 2026. A larger group belongs in the Juno Room, which holds 20 at £255 on Monday to Wednesday in 2026, or in the Garden Room. Name which one so the pictures match the space.
We are leaving after the statutory slot. What do we add?
The 10.30am to 11.30am window and the second address. Say that portraits may not fit before the next appointment. Ask for the travel to be priced. The £65 deposit is deducted from the ceremony fee. It is not the photographer's price.
