Eighty guests and a procession, or two witnesses
Warrington's ceremony room at 1 Time Square, for 2026-2027, is £250 Monday to Friday and £280 on Saturday. Sundays and bank holidays are unavailable. The room allows up to 80 guests, with music, a reading or two, and a procession in. A statutory ceremony in the register office at the same address is £62, with no more than two guests, and those guests must be the witnesses. There is no procession in that signing.
Every booking carries a £70 fee, and it is not deducted from the ceremony price. One or two hours often covers the statutory signing and a few pictures outside. Eighty guests and a procession need a longer booking, so say which ceremony you have and how long you want the camera there. Approved venues in the borough for 2026-2027 are £610 Monday to Thursday and £690 on Friday and Saturday. That is registrar attendance, and the venue hire is separate. Send the venue address and the time the registrars arrive. If you leave 1 Time Square for the meal, put the second address in the quote.
How many hours for the £62 ceremony at 1 Time Square?
One or two hours is often enough. You have no more than two guests, and they are the witnesses, so the pictures are a very small group. Book it separately from the room that allows a procession and up to 80 guests.
What should we ask for on a Saturday in the ceremony room?
The room is £280 on Saturday and £250 Monday to Friday in 2026-2027. Sundays and bank holidays are unavailable. Send the start time, the guest count up to 80, and whether you want the procession photographed.
Is the £70 part of the photographer's fee?
It is the council's booking fee, and it stays separate from the ceremony price. Ask the photographer for the hours, which of the two ceremonies you booked, and the travel if the meal is at an approved venue.
What should we send for an approved venue on a Friday?
That venue's own address. Registrar attendance in 2026-2027 is £690 on Friday and Saturday, and £610 Monday to Thursday. The venue's hire is extra. Ask the photographer to cover the time the registrars walk in.
Can the photographer be at the £62 signing inside 1 Time Square?
The room holds no more than two guests, and they must be the witnesses. Say if one witness is photographing, or if you only want pictures afterwards. Keep this separate from the 80-guest room in the same building.
