Ceremonies in Salford are at Buile Hill Mansion in Buile Hill Park. The fees page, updated on 10 April 2026, lists the statutory room for four people on Tuesdays at £62. That room is a ceremony with two witnesses, with no readings or poetry, and the certificate is £12.50 on top. A provisional booking is £40 and is not taken off the ceremony fee. The Kingslea Suite, for April 2026 to March 2027, is £220 Monday to Friday and £300 on Saturday. Valentine's Day, Good Friday and Christmas Eve are £400 in that table.
A short Tuesday signing is often covered in one or two hours, ceremony plus a few pictures outside. If the statutory room will not hold a camera and two witnesses comfortably, the park is where the portraits go. Send the park entrance you have been told to use. A Saturday in the Kingslea Suite is a guest ceremony, with a different amount of time on the steps if you want groups. Four people, or the Kingslea Suite
Say Tuesday and four people when that is the booking, and say that the mansion is in the park. For the Kingslea Suite, send the day, the guest count and how long you want outside. Half the suite fee is paid when you book the council, and the balance is due three months before the ceremony. That schedule is the council's. Your photography quote should still be for the hours and the travel.
