Eight guests at the Life Centre
The Life Centre in Wigan takes a maximum of eight guests. Wednesday morning is £56, increasing to £62 from 6 April 2026. Monday all day, and Wednesday afternoon, are £145. Friday is £170. Fees rise on 1 April each year, and certificates are not included. A non-refundable booking fee of £50 holds the date and time, on top of the registrar cost. The Life Centre fee also covers a ceremony at an unlicensed venue you choose in the borough, and that choice has a separate inspection.
Eight guests is a hard ceiling. If a photographer is one of those eight, say so before the day, because there is no spare corner. Otherwise plan the pictures outside. A short signing is often covered in one or two hours, ceremony plus a few pictures outside. The Atrium at the Town Hall takes a maximum of 60 guests, at £395 on Friday and £395 on Saturday. The Lodge at Mesnes Park takes a maximum of 50, from £420 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. An extra £50 is added for ceremonies after 5pm.
Name the room and the finish time
The Town Hall is a different building from the Life Centre. Send the start time and the time you want coverage to end, especially on a Friday. If the meal is elsewhere, add that address so travel from the Life Centre, the Atrium or Mesnes Park is in the price. Certificates are ordered separately.
What does Wednesday morning at the Life Centre mean for pictures?
Wednesday morning is £56, or £62 from 6 April 2026, for a maximum of eight guests. Certificates are not included, and the booking fee is a further £50. One or two hours often covers the signing and a few pictures outside. Say whether the photographer is inside the eight.
How many people can the Atrium take on a Friday or Saturday?
A maximum of 60 guests, at £395 on either day. That is a guest ceremony at the Town Hall. Send the guest count so the quote includes groups. It is a different job from the Life Centre.
What changes if we marry after 5pm?
An additional £50 is added to the ceremony fee for that room and day. Tell the photographer the later finish so the hours match. A Life Centre Friday at £170 and a ceremony after 5pm are different clocks.
The Lodge at Mesnes Park is booked. What guest count do we send?
A maximum of 50, from £420 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Send the start time, how long you want outside, and the meal address if you leave the park.
We chose an unlicensed venue. What address goes on the brief?
The place where the ceremony will actually happen, plus the fact that registration is tied to the Life Centre fee and that the venue needs its own inspection. Send the guest count, the hours, and any drive between the two stops.
